DR Maternity and Prenatal Health

We are thankful to report this project has been fully funded!

In a country with a high maternal mortality rate, many women (Dominican and Haitian) do not receive prenatal care due to cost, accessibility, lack of education or fear of deportation. Our goal is to provide routine prenatal screenings, prenatal vitamins, and a visit to the mother's home after she has given birth to complete a physical exam for the mom and baby. 

 The budget to fund this ministry to for one year is $4,000.
